The African Enterprise Institute introduces its Entrepreneurship Support Program for entrepreneurs and young people living in selected qualified communities of Nigeria, Africa and the Caribbean. Our program provides support for community based entrepreneurs to expand beyond the community to offer their goods and services to markets across the nation, across the continent of Africa and subsequently across the World. We support young people accepted into our entrepreneurship support program with grants and scholarships for trainings and guidance in business startup, capital raising, business sustainability and executive management trainings. We also adopt the most promising entrepreneurs from each of our qualified communities into a more exclusive enterprise development program which includes direction, guidance and support for global market penetration and global capital access.
1. Entrepreneurship Strategy series (FREE) courses for selected people or entrepreneurs of a given community. 50 licenses for youths and women.
- Get the youths selected to register, follow and like our social handles.
- Identify a partner in the community with a computer if required ( cybercafés, business centers, exam centers.)
- They can take the course online
2. Select 3 outstanding entrepreneurs, from those that took the course. Selected for further support, based on drive and ideas.
3. Offer the 3 entrepreneurs selected the following:
* StartUp Nigeria series
* Becoming a Champion study package.
5. We can support a further number of entrepreneurs in the community into the second stage of ESP for :
a. Paring with our Super Mentors
b. Funding of their qualified eligible business ( especially if chosen from our listed options of “Community Enterprises” )
c. Market penetration
d. Community Economic Ecosystem parts 1, 2 3 ( new businesses set up and funded, community enterprises, micro merchants, community vendors etc.)
6. Funding and support in business is available for an additional 250 entrepreneurs not previously selected in the original 50. If they get certified and take the courses. However the additional 250 will need to be funded by Community philanthropists, companies operating in the community or Diaspora members of that community. We will work together to find the funding partners for this. Once they are trained then they are inducted into the ESP Community Economic Ecosystem part 3 which includes funding for businesses and enterprises in selected fields. The new 250 are funded for the ESP as a bundle N50k each.
7. Once new 250 have been selected and funding partners are secured working closely with the ANCHOR, then the same step process 1 to 6 will follow.
